Community and Collaboration - GIVEAWAY

I’ve always thought of my artwork as being created for a homeowner, or a designed commercial space.  When I’m painting, I imagine what type of room it will live in, who might be interested in owning it, and the feeling that a particular painting can create in a space.  But my work cannot be supported on its own.  A home is a layered and personal space.  The people who live there slowly build their furniture choices, their wall colors, the artwork and all things that they feel represent themselves.  That’s why I know it’s important and inspiring for me to pair my work with like minded businesses, in the hopes that we find our ideal clients.

Community and Collaboration - GIVEAWAY

This month, I’m teaming up with 2 woman-owned, Canadian small businesses, who’s values align with my own.  We are holding a fun and inclusive giveaway that includes e-design services, a spa gift package and my artwork.  I think it’s the perfect combination for some self care at the perfect time of year when we could all use a bit more of that.  Read through to the bottom of this post for all the giveaway details and how to enter.  Contest runs Feb. 13-17 2023.

Firstly, let me introduce Dual Design Co. - a residential interior design studio located in Vancouver, BC.

Servicing British Columbia and Ontario, owner and principal designer Kayla Coulas embodies a nonconformist design philosophy. One thing that really drew me to Kayla is the networking group that she’s created for interior designers and industry professionals.  They regularly host events to support, inspire and educate each other on all things design.  With community at their core, I vouch for @dualdesign.co that they will listen to your design needs and truly care about their clients, whether it’s a full scale interior design project, or a smaller e-design project that caters to all budgets.  

And secondly, meet Amber Mandich. A mom to four littles (the little-ist one arrived just last week!), she works full-time in the cultural sector, and has been a Beautycounter consultant for almost three years. She is the face behind @heyitsamberm on Instagram, where she shares about safer beauty and motherhood. She is passionate about the importance of self-care and wellness in the home, and educating about the impact of cosmetic products on our health. 

I have yet to meet Amber in person, I resonate with her business values and share in motherhood - though I only have one little guy, my outlook on the works has completely shifted.  And bonus - as a former makeup artist, I love Beautycounter and feel it's such a great self care addition to our giveaway package.
